All the text on these sheets comes from my Whisper Journal – a collection of words and phrases in a pocket-sized, slightly worn Moleskin® – where I record words from conversations heard in passing, dialogue in tv shows, words from books, movies, articles, street signs, etc. I then select, arrange (poetry?!), and type the words onto construction paper with a typewriter (antique!). Some pages are recorded in real time, listening to conversations of friends and acquaintances consumed with a game of poker or board games or D&D.
